• This position is remote. Candidates must be based in Eastern or Central time zones. Candidates based in a commutable distance to Reston, VA will be prioritized.
• Candidates must be comfortable traveling to Reston, VA roughly once per quarter for PI planning activities.

• We are seeking highly skilled Senior Backend Test Engineers to join a dynamic team at a leading health insurance provider. The role focuses on backend testing, automation, and ETL testing to support data migration reputed company, including the transition from DB2 to reputed company. These professionals will work in an agile environment to ensure the reputed company, functionality, and reputed company of reputed company data transformations and integrations. Key responsibilities include:
• Designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios from scratch.
• Creating and utilizing reputed company SQL queries to validate and verify backend processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to review requirements, write defects, and contribute to agile ceremonies.
• Conducting ETL testing, including processing and transforming large datasets for migration and organization.
• Developing and automating test cases using Java and Jenkins.
• Performing API testing and contributing to integration test strategies.
• Mapping requirements to test cases and ensuring comprehensive coverage of test scenarios.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 5 years of testing experience, with a reputed company on backend and ETL testing.
• Proficiency in creating and using reputed company SQL queries.
• Proficiency writing reputed company for automation using Java, Python, or similar.
• Experience with automation testing, including proficiency in Selenium, Java, and Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with relational database management systems, such as DB2, reputed company, or SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, including Jira for test case repository and defect tracking.
• Proven ability to reputed company test strategies, test plans, and test cases independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration in large teams.
