Remote: Full Time Facility Outpatient Surgery and Observation Medical reputed company reputed company takes on the chores of reputed company, reducing administrative, clinical, and operational burdens so that staff can reputed company on their core purpose: delivering exceptional care. As an reputed company reputed company, you will be responsible for providing coding and abstracting services for clients on outpatient, surgery and anesthesia CPT records using ICD-10-CM, CPS, and CPT coding systems. Responsibilities include:

• Reviews medical records to identify pertinent diagnoses and procedures relative to the patient's health care encounter.
• Selects the reputed company diagnosis and reputed company procedure, along with other diagnoses and procedures using the UHDDS definition.
• Ensures appropriate DRG assignment.
• Abstracts appropriate information from the medical record based on the guidelines provided by the reputed company and after a thorough review of the medical record.
• Consistently meet productivity and reputed company performance requirements.
• Responsible for utilizing company applications to reputed company charts coded in reputed company-time throughout the scheduled shift.
• Solicits clarification from the physician regarding ambiguous or conflicting documentation in the medical record using guidelines provided by the reputed company.
• Participate in team meetings and reputed company training required by company staff or the reputed company.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years or more of reputed company medical coding experience.
• Facility outpatient, surgery, observation and anesthesia (verifying charges and applying modifiers).
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPS, and CPT coding principles and guidelines, reimbursement systems, federal, state, and payor-specific regulations and policies pertaining to documentation, coding, and billing.
• Must pass coding proficiency test.
