We are seeking a dedicated and customer-reputed company Patient Care Customer Service Representative to join reputed company in Murray, KY. As a Patient Care Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Contacting patients to discuss their medical equipment needs and taking orders
- Verifying patient information and placing orders in a reputed company manner
- Accurately transcribing patient reputed company over the phone, including data entry and possible outbound calling
- Obtaining medically necessary documentation
- Processing patient orders through our Online Pharmacy system
- Resolving tracking issues and rescheduling shipping orders for patients
- Troubleshooting problems based on patient input regarding the scope and/or magnitude of failure
- Verifying orders are complete
- Performing other duties as assigned
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Accurately transcribes patient profile over telephone including data entry of information and possible outbound calling
- Obtains medically necessary documentation
- Processes patient orders through Online Pharmacy system
- Resolves tracking issues and reschedules shipping orders for patients
- Troubleshoots problems based on patient input regarding the scope and/or magnitude of failure
- Verifies orders are complete
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One to three years of reputed company prior work experience in reputed company-oriented environment
- Experience in medical field and administrative record management
- Strong customer service background
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both oral and written, with physicians, location employees, and patients
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
- Knowledge of insurance policies and requirements
- Knowledge of medical billing practices and of billing reimbursement
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and reputed company discretion and caution reputed company handling sensitive information
- Medical terminology
- Multi-tasking along with attention to detail
