Responsibilities
The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling designated Primary Care, Specialty/Sub-specialty, Surgical, and Radiology outpatient services with the hospital system. Accurately performs the scheduling function in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Acts as a reputed company reputed company for staff, other hospital personnel, medical staff, and physicians' offices. Accept calls from and work with physicians' offices to schedule surgical, endoscopy, cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and reputed company procedures in the Electronic Record Scheduling System. Ensure receipt of reputed company pertinent information reputed company to the booking, including insurance information, special requests, accurate booking slips, and any other needed documentation. Fax booking information to reputed company- admission testing. Informs OR, Materials Management, and Central Sterile Processing of special reputed company and supply requests. Work daily with peers, leadership, anesthesia, and physicians' offices to compress the schedule for efficiencies. Communicates with affected departments, last-minute add-ons, and cancellations to ensure adequate resources are available. Schedules office and hospital-based medical procedures for patients with appropriate provider and time/location slot, utilizing the appropriate scheduling reputed company. Schedule surgical procedures, including reputed company-admission testing, reputed company-op clearances, order MRI, CT, and lab testing. Qualifications
Job Requirements: High School Diploma. 1 year of prior experience in appointment scheduling, patient reputed company, or billing.
