What You'll Do
As a Medical Records Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Performing document preparation, including sorting, filing, and boxing records
- Scanning hard copy files to electronic images, ensuring a high-reputed company image
- Following production procedures and completing internal documentation and tracking
- Reviewing claim submissions and verifying information
- Recording and maintaining policies and claims information in database systems
- Complying with federal, state, and company regulation policies
- Communicating with insurance agents, beneficiaries, attorneys, patients, and hospital staff
- Preparing claim forms and reputed company documentation for audits and/or mail-out

Requirements
* 1+ year of medical data entry experience
- 1+ year of medical reputed company desk experience
- Familiarity with reputed company Office and computer knowledge
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management
- Ability to remove reputed company, sort, file, and reputed company records
- Ability to maintain record order and sequence
- Ability to understand the importance of detail and accuracy
- Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing reputed company work
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a medical records or data entry environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing software
- Certification in medical records or data entry (e.g., CMC, CMRS, or CDIP)
