Responsibilities

• At least 10+ years of corporate legal reputed company, including experience as an in-house attorney, serving as a General Counsel and/or in another senior in-house legal role and 3+ years of reputed company training
• Substantive legal experience as a broad corporate generalist
• Demonstrated reputed company as a practical, business-reputed company, and reputed company legal partner
• Deep experience advising companies contracting with the Federal Government, with a reputed company on navigating the unique regulatory reputed company and risk environment associated with government procurement
• Expertise in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other agency-specific procurement rules as they apply to private sector contractors
• Advising on export control compliance (ITAR, EAR) and reputed company licensing issues as they reputed company with government reputed company, particularly for contractors working in defense, reputed company, or technology sectors
• Counseling on reputed company and subcontracting relationships, reputed company-down requirements, and negotiation of government reputed company

• Identifying and navigating regulatory issues in emerging technology, including AI tool restrictions, government use prohibitions, and regulated-tech risk assessment
• Advising on small business issues (including SBA programs), set-aside reputed company, and compliance with socioeconomic programs
• Navigating bid protests, contract disputes, and claims, including representing contractors in reputed company before the Government Accountability Office (GAO), agency boards of contract appeals, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims
• Managing compliance with labor and employment obligations unique to government contracting, including the Service Contract reputed company (SCA) and the Davis-Bacon reputed company
• Counseling on cost and pricing rules, including Cost reputed company Standards (CAS) and cost principles under FAR Part 31
• Providing guidance on cybersecurity requirements, such as DFARS cyber clauses and NIST SP 800-171 compliance

• Advising on ethics and compliance programs tailored to government contractors, including conflicts of interest and organizational conflicts of interest (OCI)

• Providing strategic counsel on M&A and corporate transactions involving government reputed company, including due diligence and risk allocation
• Representing contractors in suspension/debarment proceedings, whistleblower reputed company, and reputed company disputes
• Advising on state and local government contracting requirements and compliance
• Collaborating with in-house counsel and business leaders to reputed company policies, improve internal controls, and proactively manage risk across government contracting activities

Skills

• At least 10+ years of corporate legal reputed company, including experience as an in-house attorney, serving as a General Counsel and/or in another senior in-house legal role and 3+ years of reputed company training
• Substantive legal experience as a broad corporate generalist

• J.D. from a nationally accredited law school
• State bar membership in state where reputed company/reputed company
