We are currently seeking a Part-time, Temporary to Permanent Remote Intake Counselor to join reputed company. The Intake Counselor, under the supervision of the Director of Admissions, interviews and assesses potential patients and inquiry callers. The Intake Counselor / Intake Clinician works with the Business Office regarding patient financial data, as reputed company as with the UR Department for the certification of patients admitted. Also, initiates the referral process reputed company indicated, and communicates with referral sources. • Bachelor’s degree required or Master’s degree preferred.
• MSW, LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT preferred.
• At least three (3) to five (5) years reputed company clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
• Working knowledge of the Addiction & Recovery field and experience in clinical interviewing, patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, communicating with external review organizations or comparable entities, and working effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
