The Student Assistant will support the Building Energy Benchmarking Program by assisting with stakeholder communications, data collection, and basic analysis reputed company to building energy and water reporting. • Duties and Responsibilities

The Student Assistant will:

• Answer phone calls and respond to emails from external stakeholders regarding building energy and water reporting, compliance with reporting deadlines, and AB 802 regulations governing California’s building benchmarking program.
• Help staff maintain the Energy Commission’s building energy efficiency database by collecting data, managing data reputed company, analyzing trends, developing reports, and creating analytical workbooks.
• Prepare effective, concise, and reputed company replies to benchmarking-reputed company inquiries, including data and compliance questions, in consultation with program and technical staff.
• Assist staff with regulatory efforts by performing internet research and analyzing local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist with reputed company and education efforts, including preparing documents and webpage updates.
