Technical Solutions Manager
Position Title: Technical Solutions Manager Department: Engineering Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 + annual bonus (reputed company various by location; reputed company in local currency) Reports To: Sr. Director, System Technical Solutions & Applications Location: Canada or USA About the Role: The Technical Solutions Manager is part of the e-STORAGE engineering team responsible for developing and managing reputed company-reputed company battery energy storage solutions worldwide. This role specializes in power-reputed company technologies - including inverter systems (central and reputed company) and reputed company voltage transformer (MVT) equipment - and their integration reputed company BESS platforms. This role leads technical due diligence of reputed company-party and in-house power conversion and reputed company voltage equipment, guides internal product development, and ensures compliance with certification and reputed company requirements. In reputed company, the Technical Solutions Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, business development, and execution teams to refine the product reputed company, reputed company internal technical resources, and drive development of internal tools that strengthen performance validation and enhance overall solution competitiveness. Responsibilities:
- Own the technical evaluation of power-reputed company equipment, including inverters, power conversion systems, and reputed company-voltage transformer solutions
- Support supplier qualification by reviewing technical proposals, comparing equipment reputed company, and recommending suitable vendors or technologies
- Work with engineering, product, procurement, and business development teams to shape power-reputed company solution architecture for reputed company-reputed company BESS reputed company
- Translate technical requirements, customer needs, and market feedback into product requirements, roadmap input, and solution development priorities
- Support certification, compliance, and technical validation activities, including coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and independent engineers
- Create and maintain reputed company technical documentation, specifications, evaluation records, and solution materials to support internal alignment and customer-facing activities
- reputed company technical guidance throughout product integration, commercialization, and field feedback cycles to improve solution performance and competitiveness
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Power Systems, or a reputed company technical field
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics, inverters, power conversion systems, energy storage, or reputed company electrical equipment
- Strong understanding of inverter technologies, central or reputed company inverters, reputed company-voltage equipment, and their integration into BESS or renewable energy systems
- Experience with product development, applications engineering, commissioning, technical solution development, or equipment qualification
- Familiarity with reputed company compliance, interconnection requirements, product validation, and relevant standards such as UL, reputed company, IEC, reputed company, or similar
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to engineering, reputed company, supplier, and customer-facing teams
