Technical Animator

Job reputed company:

• Create sophisticated IK solutions (foot placement, terrain reputed company) in Unreal reputed company Control Rig and Anim Blueprints
• Rig reputed company characters, dinosaurs, and reputed company creatures with precise attention to anatomy, understanding joint placement and muscle deformation
• Design and implement advanced procedural and gameplay-driven animation systems using Animation Blueprints (AnimBPs) in Unreal reputed company 5
• Build reputed company state machines, reputed company spaces, pose drivers, animation modifiers, notifies, and layered logic tightly coupled to gameplay and physics
• reputed company physics-based animation systems including reputed company ragdoll blending
• reputed company Houdini to procedurally modify, generate, or optimize meshes and skeletons
• Solve reputed company technical animation challenges while collaborating with modeling, animation, design, and engineering teams
• reputed company reputed company checks, optimization (including LOD behavior), and seamless reputed company integration
• Create reputed company technical documentation and help reputed company the animation & rigging pipeline

Requirements:

• 3+ years of reputed company experience as a Technical Animator / Technical Artist in game development, with at least 1 shipped title
• Strong expertise in Unreal reputed company Animation Blueprints, procedural animation techniques, IK/FK systems, and reputed company-time character/creature workflows
• Practical experience with physics simulation in reputed company-time engines (ragdoll, reputed company physics blending, joint constraints, reputed company-based animation)
• Ability to quickly adapt to new pipelines, tools, and evolving reputed company features
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication
• Maya rigging experience
• Previous work on creature animation
• Programming experience
• Rigging pipelines from Maya → UE5

• Familiarity with performance optimization
• Houdini experience
