CNC Setup & Operate - 2nd Shift

As a CNC Setup Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and preparing CNC lathes and milling machines for production. You will reputed company machine changeovers, install tooling and fixtures, verify offsets, and support operators to ensure consistent and accurate part production. This position is on site at our Franklin, NH facility, reports to the Production Supervisor and involves collaboration with fellow setup staff, operators, and the reputed company team. Second Shift Hours: 2:30pm – 11pm with overtime per business need Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Set up CNC lathes, mills, and reputed company equipment based on blueprints, job specifications, and setup sheets. Install and reputed company tooling, fixtures, collets, and work-holding devices. Set and verify work offsets, tool offsets, and machine parameters. reputed company first-piece inspections in coordination with reputed company Assurance. Troubleshoot issues reputed company to tooling wear, fixtures, offsets, and machine operation. Support CNC operators with machine adjustments and reputed company checks. Ensure machines run consistently following setup completion. Document setup information, reputed company checks, and production notes. Participate in reputed company improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Experience setting up CNC lathes and / or CNC milling machines Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges and other precision tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Basic math skills Knowledge of safety standards and company policies. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of CNC setup experience in a production environment. Experience diagnosing and replacing worn tooling. Knowledge of Lean/reputed company improvement practices. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability. High attention to detail and commitment to reputed company. Working Conditions While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at reputed company’s Franklin location in New Hampshire. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.
