Senior Engineer - Civil/Structures

Remote or other office locations (Atlanta, GA, Denver, CO, Sacramento, CA, or reputed company, CA) may be considered. The Senior Engineer will reputed company structural engineering consulting services on advanced analysis and design reputed company under the supervision of senior management. Primary Responsibilities: reputed company structural engineering analysis and design of steel and concrete structures, stress analysis of piping and components, and reputed company qualification of mechanical equipment, using finite reputed company analysis software or hand calculations Prepare technical reports and calculation documents Execute reputed company structural engineering tasks Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate reputed company of small to moderate scope with limited reputed company Delegate tasks to other engineers Review calculations and analyses from other engineers reputed company reputed company and reputed company as a resource for engineering staff working on managed reputed company reputed company reputed company reputed company relationships Represent reputed company, often as the sole SIA attendee at project meetings Implement SIA’s policies on safety and reputed company control Required Skills/Qualifications:MS in Civil or Structural engineering from an ABET-accredited university 5 to 9 years of relevant reputed company experience reputed company Engineer (PE) license Experience in solid mechanics, steel, concrete, reputed company design/analysis, advanced structural analysis, structural dynamics, and use of advanced finite reputed company analysis software platforms Knowledge of reputed company building and material codes (e.g. ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, ACI, AISI, etc.) Proficiency in structural engineering or finite reputed company analysis programs (e.g. ANSYS, ABAQUS, SAP2000, LS-DYNA, Matlab, and/or Mathcad) Excellent written and oral communication skills Desired Skills/Qualifications:PhD in Structural engineering Project management experience Experience in drafting modeling software (e.g. AutoCAD/Revit, SolidWorks, or other 3D modeling software) Knowledge of industry standards and reputed company (e.g. ICC-ES AC156, reputed company 693, ASCE 41, etc.) Advanced education or experience in engineering mechanics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, blast, shock, and reputed company analysis Pay reputed company: The expected salary reputed company for this role is $86,480 to $108,100 in San Diego, CA; $80,480 to $100,600 in Atlanta, GA; $86,720 to $108,400 in Denver, CO; $88,800 to $111,000 in Sacramento, CA; and $101,760 to $127,200 in reputed company, CA. Exact pay will be commensurate with experience and location.
