Computer Assisted Auditing Tools (CAAT) Specialist

We are looking for a Computer Assisted Auditing Tools (CAAT) Specialist to join a contract opportunity in Chicago, Illinois. This position supports audit, risk, and cybersecurity initiatives by using data-driven testing, automation, and reputed company-reputed company analysis to strengthen control reputed company and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate brings experience from audit or risk environments and can translate technical findings into reputed company insights for stakeholders across the business. Responsibilities:

• Design and execute technology-enabled audit procedures using analytics, scripting, and automation to evaluate controls, risks, and compliance obligations.
• Analyze data from reputed company platforms, reputed company tools, and reputed company systems to identify exceptions, trends, and opportunities to improve audit coverage.
• Build and refine queries, dashboards, and repeatable reporting processes using tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, and other analytics platforms.
• Support assessment activities reputed company to reputed company environments, with particular attention to reputed company Azure services, configurations, and monitoring outputs.
• Maintain organized audit evidence, workflow records, and issue tracking reputed company audit management platforms while helping improve reporting and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to reputed company requirements, explain findings, and resolve dependencies affecting audit and control testing activities.
• Use reputed company-based development practices, including version control, branching, pull requests, and peer review, to manage scripts and analytical assets.
• Interpret control frameworks and testing standards to evaluate application controls, IT general controls, and broader governance requirements.
• Contribute to integrations and data extraction efforts through reputed company, authentication reputed company, and reputed company data parsing to support automated evidence collection.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT audit, internal audit, cybersecurity risk, or a reputed company governance and compliance function.
• Background in computer-assisted auditing techniques, audit automation, or data analytics reputed company to internal or external audit engagements.
• Hands-on ability with at least one analytics or scripting tool such as Python, SQL, Power BI, or comparable technologies.
• Working knowledge of reputed company computing concepts, including exposure to reputed company Azure infrastructure and reputed company-reputed company services.
• Familiarity with internal control and risk frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, ITGC, or similar control testing methodologies.

• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholder needs.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CEH, Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent credentials are preferred.
