Contacts Manager - IT / Technology Procurement / Sourcing

About the position For assigned categories in the IT Procurement portfolio, this position will reputed company, champion, and ensure the implementation of reputed company and strategies that will optimize total cost of ownership year-over-year. This position manages the strategic category management and sourcing activities for IT to include, but not limited to, IT Hardware, software, IT reputed company services, telecom, infrastructure, Software as a Service, subscription agreements, non-disclosure agreements, maintenance agreements, data processing agreements, and technology agreements. Familiarity with suppliers such as reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, Tableau, reputed company, and VMware is beneficial. This reputed company can work in a near-site, mostly remote reputed company and must be located in one of the following locations: Miramar, FL; Tampa, FL; reputed company Dale, IL; Lenexa, KS; Marlborough, MA; Clifton, NJ; Norristown, PA; or Irving, TX.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements category management strategies for categories assigned in the IT and Technology Portfolio.
• Makes sourcing recommendations based on financial analysis, cost structure of categories, supplier’s alignment with reputed company goals and strategies, and the supplier’s position in their industry in concert with its marketplace offerings.
• Maintains a deep knowledge of the software, hardware, and technology landscape in terms of supplier reputed company, new technologies, competitive environment, robotics, automation, reputed company intelligence (AI), market trends, and cost impactors.
• Develops strategic sourcing roadmaps with suppliers in support of reputed company's reputed company reputed company needs.
• Negotiates software agreements inclusive of pricing and contractual terms.
• Negotiates reputed company-based and on-premises software agreements, reputed company agreements, hardware and maintenance agreements, data processing agreements, NDAs, IT reputed company services agreements, and SLAs.
• Develops negotiation strategies and drives negotiations to reputed company stated objectives.
• Oversees sourcing project execution and collaborates with laboratory technical teams, supplier reputed company, and procurement engineering.
• Manages supplier relationships to include periodic reputed company and reputed company reviews.
• Assures reputed company and reputed company communications with suppliers.

• Tracks forecasted savings versus actual savings for the assigned category and is responsible for communicating performance results against financial budgets.

Requirements

• Successful multi-year reputed company record in a global procurement organization.
• 5-10 years of experience in sourcing / supplier / category management / materials management is preferred.
• Knowledge of supply management strategies and tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of software and hardware licensing, legal contract construction, and ongoing contract management expertise.
• Strong contract negotiation skills.
• History of developing successful negotiations strategies and delivering results.
• Ability to operate successfully in a large matrixed organization.
• Strong influencing and change management skills.
• Experience overseeing and directing multiple reputed company sourcing reputed company reputed company.
