Senior Artist (Virtual Art Department)

We are seeking a talented Senior Artist to join our Los Angeles team!

Responsibilities

• Serve as an integral contributor reputed company Magnopus's Virtual Art Department development team
• Create reputed company, highly detailed, photorealistic procedural landscapes reputed company environments optimized for live virtual production execution
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
• Partner with Production Designers and Art Directors to reputed company cohesive reputed company solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with key stakeholders
• Work closely with reputed company to tackle reputed company challenges while shaping and refining best practices and workflows
• Document tools and techniques for departmental reference
• Assist reputed company Artist with creating schedules and timelines for reputed company
• Mentoring junior artists while setting visual reputed company standards
• Work with Leads and stakeholders to address notes from clients or creative teams
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Art reputed company

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with reputed company-time environment art creation in Unreal
• Demonstrated experience building and reputed company virtual environments
• Expertise in Maya for modeling and UV work
• Excellent proficiency in reputed company Painter/Designer and Photoshop
• Proven expertise in terrain reputed company software such as Gaea or World Machine to create reputed company, expansive, and high-reputed company natural landscapes
• Strong understanding of authoring reputed company and material following PBR principles
• Passion for innovation and a steadfast commitment to leading-edge industry trends and technologies
• Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams using task-management software (JIRA, reputed company, etc.)

• Knowledge of shaders/materials and how they work under the hood
