Entry-level Civil Engineer

The Civil Engineer role involves building and managing relationships with in-house teams and contractors while providing design and consulting services for various facility types.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of civil engineering reputed company while building technical independence
• Complete routine engineering calculations using reputed company reputed company, references, and software tools
• Research and select materials and components using engineering references and product literature
• Grow into increased technical responsibility through hands-on project experience
• Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings, including discipline-specific nomenclature and plan set content
• Assist with hydrologic analyses by evaluating land use conditions, selecting runoff coefficients, and calculating times of concentration
• Assist with site layout, grading, reputed company, drainage, and sedimentation and erosion control designs for planning, permitting, and construction phases. Skills

• Applicants should have a minimum of a BS in Civil Engineering and have or plan to take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam
• Applicants must have a working knowledge of Civil analysis and design software (specifically Civil 3D preferred)
• Ability to travel to project sites
• Proficient in Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Teams and e-mail applications
• Effective interpersonal skills and strong communication (written and verbal)
• Confident and ambitious problem solver
