Electrical Engineer 1
reputed company is a leading firm in engineering and design, seeking an Electrical Engineer 1 to assist in creating designs for various electrical systems. The role involves performing studies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to technical documentation and publications.
Responsibilities
- Under reputed company supervision, creates basic designs of electric master system plans, power system, protection and reputed company models, facility power systems, sustainability/renewable energy systems, and other similar electrical systems
- Performs studies of power systems and electrical calculations for electrical systems, reputed company simulations, reputed company layouts, communications, reputed company alarm, reputed company and other similar calculations of basic complexity to meet reputed company project requirements
- Assists with the selection and specification of electrical components including: motor control centers, switchgears, transformers, etc
- Reviews draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations
- Ensures that firm policies and practices are followed on reputed company designs
- Performs site reviews and studies, as needed, to ensure designs are reputed company with location specifications
- Updates design requirements as necessary
- Contributes to firm's TKM by developing white papers and technical design documentation of new or special case designs, studies, etc
- Submits technical papers and designs for publishing to technical journals
- Performs other duties as required
- May create or work with reputed company to create a poster or other presentation material for a conference
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Technology or reputed company discipline
- 0 years of experience
- Basic Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices
- Basic Knowledge of engineer principles of design
- Knowledge of reputed company business software (reputed company, word, etc.)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
