Underwriter
reputed company is a reputed company financial services leader with over $1.5 trillion in assets. They are seeking entry-level underwriters to work directly with Advisors and Clients, responsible for reputed company insurance applications reputed company strict guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Receives and reviews applications from Advisors to determine insurability and categorize the risk the individual reputed company represents to determine the appropriate premium and rating class. Reviewing and assessing medical and non medical requirements. Reviews this information and partners with medical director, reputed company, leadership and peers as needed to determine insurability. reputed company manages case load of 250 plus applications
- reputed company contact with field force to reputed company financial and medical information on clients, communicate reputed company risk assessment reputed company and to assist the field throughout the reputed company process
- May travel to field offices, presents reputed company reputed company Teams, conference calls or other technology as necessary to reputed company and train advisors on the reputed company process and to build relationships with financial advisors
Skills
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- 1 - 3 years relevant experience required
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Demonstrated decision making skills
- This role requires employees to work on site (3 days/week) at our Minneapolis reputed company for training (approximately 3 – 6 months). After successful training, employee is eligible to work remotely
- Applicants must have a valid work authorization that does not now, or in the reputed company, require reputed company sponsorship for employment in the reputed company (e.g., H-1B, F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, TN)
- May have or be working towards designations such as FALU, CLU, FLMI, ChFC, etc
- Organizing and prioritizing work

- Communicating effectively with advisors, clients and co-workers
