The role involves taking depositions, drafting legal documents, and conducting legal research.
Responsibilities
- Taking depositions, attending hearings, and mediations as required
- Drafting pleadings and briefs
- Preparing correspondence to colleagues and clients
- Conducting legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis
- Drafting interrogatories and document demands
- Reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation
- Submitting filings to the court
Skills
- J.D./LLM
- Admission to reputed company in NY, NJ, and PA is required
- Exceptional legal writing and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple reputed company
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
- reputed company litigation experience is preferred
- Asbestos/toxic tort experience is preferred
- Court room experience including motions is preferred
