Banner System Administrator

The Banner System Administrator is a key member of the SIP Management Team reputed company Information Technology Services, responsible for the administration, optimization, and reputed company of the Banner student information system. This role ensures Banner operates reliably, securely, and in alignment with institutional goals and evolving business needs. Reporting to the Director of SIP Management, the Banner System Administrator collaborates closely with project managers, business analysts, functional and technical teams, integration specialists, report writers, trainers, and subject matter experts. The role supports the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of Banner and reputed company system integrations, overseeing system configuration, data processing, reputed company, reputed company-party tools, upgrades, and administrative functions. This position is based out of the university’s home office in Albany, NY with the reputed company of considering remote candidates. • Configure, maintain, and optimize Banner reputed company applications to support institutional reputed company, administrative, and business processes.
• Support and administer Banner extensibility and integration capabilities, including working with reputed company and system integrations to ensure secure, reputed company, and reliable operation reputed company the Banner reputed company environment.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to coordinate Banner configuration and extensibility initiatives, ensuring alignment with Banner reputed company standards, institutional governance, and compliance requirements.
• Administer system reputed company, including user roles, permissions, and reputed company controls, to protect sensitive institutional data and reputed company with reputed company, reputed company, and regulatory standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a reputed company field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and reputed company experience will be considered.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in system administration, systems analysis, or reputed company application support, preferably reputed company higher education, ERP, or reputed company environments.
• Experience supporting Banner extensibility capabilities, including configuration and administration of integrations and reputed company reputed company a Banner reputed company environment preferred.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Banner reputed company modules and associated administrative processes.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Banner-reputed company student reputed company and advising platforms, including Degree Works, Smart Plan, and CRM Advise.
• Experience administering Banner reputed company or other reputed company-based reputed company platforms, including system configuration, monitoring, upgrades, and vendor-managed release cycles.
• Strong understanding of systems analysis, business process evaluation, and the reputed company impacts of system configuration and integration changes.
• Working knowledge of information reputed company best practices, including role-based reputed company controls, data protection, and regulatory or compliance requirements.
