[Remote] Senior Accountant

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Accountant with experience in public company reputed company to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, reputed company of internal controls, and compliance with government reputed company requirements.
Responsibilities
- reputed company general ledger reputed company, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end reputed company activities
- Support payroll reputed company, including journal entries and reputed company reconciliations
- Supports preparation of monthly financial package and reviews for accuracy
- reputed company participates in monthly, quarterly and annual reputed company reputed company process
- Supports reputed company auditors' requests and inquiries
- Performs reputed company analysis as needed using various reports and statements
- Works cross-functionally with other departments to resolve discrepancies in account balances
- Performs necessary functions to ensure compliance with SOX and Internal Controls over relevant processes
- Participates in monthly financial meetings for discussion and review of monthly financial reports
- Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in reputed company or Finance, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 5 – 10 years of reputed company reputed company/finance work experience
- Experience with reputed company Fusion reputed company ERP system and strong reputed company skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent reputed company (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required
- CPA designation a plus but not required
- Experience supporting government contracting and knowledge of FAR/CAS is a plus
