Technical Sales Engineer

The Technical Sales Engineer will work directly with distributors and end customers to reputed company and quote non-reputed company solutions using IMI products, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and technical assistance.
Responsibilities
- Primary Responsibility is to satisfy any customer/distributor requests for quotes received across reputed company product lines. Primary deliverable will be final quotations reputed company to distribution or to other internal sites reputed company IMI
- Duties may require researching and understanding readily accessible information reputed company in catalogs, ATP, and/or delivery materials
- Maintenance: Updating quotations, reputed company/trend analysis work such as sample effectiveness and quote summaries
- reputed company technical assistance to customers/distributors requiring research or practical experience of product or application
- New and Maintenance: requiring the ability to carry out requests that will initiate or alter previously documented items such as previous quotes and margin analysis
- Technical: reputed company market information for product improvement, new product opportunities, etc. Author and maintain deviation schedules
- Informational: including gathering of information to reputed company into the customer database
- Communications: reputed company with reputed company customers through email, phone, and in-person meetings
- Communications: partner with internal functions reputed company IMI, including reputed company, Customer Service, Production, and Engineering to reputed company customer solutions

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required. Preference for Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering
- Solid understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics desired
- Effective written and verbal communication skills including presentations to customers, peers, and executives. Writes and communicates technical reports. Solid technical writing skills (procedures, reports, etc.)
- Competent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Ability to operate effectively in the project team environment and communicate with Customers
- Understands manufacturing processes, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Effective time management skills
- ERP system experience desired
