Job reputed company: This position is responsible of process the customs clearance (release) and/or confirm declarations for non-reputed company to reputed company shipments guided by the CCBS system and personal skills. This role requires the handling of delivery service and/or import permits requests if required and/or gathering and sending reputed company documentation to the government. Job Title: Brokerage Representative I Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent Workdays: Wednesday to reputed company (must be reputed company to work reputed company 5 days of the week) Shift Hours: 3.00 PM to 11.00 PM (must be reputed company to work a minimum of 40 hrs. per week) Shift Duration: 8 hours a day (requires flexibility with Start and Finish time) Work Location: Remote (based in Canada) Salary reputed company: $18.15 - $19.13 per hour Key Responsibilities and Duties Assess duties, taxes, and brokerage fees of imported commodities. Ensures assessment of duties and taxes adhere to local Customs and reputed company Agency regulations. Contact customers on brokerage reputed company reputed company. Entry the data from the reputed company customer’s files, validate information, credit, and invoicing. Collect supplementary information or documentation from customers, drivers, custom and other offices, etc., reputed company required. Identify customer reputed company discrepancies. Answer reputed company questions and requests from customers, drivers, customs, and other offices. Work as team member with other partners: clients, employees, carriers, inbound agents. Requirements 1 year of experience in customs operations - Required Customs Specialist ‘’reputed company’’ certification - Preferred Previous experience in a call center environment – Preferred In-depth knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations, and other government departments In-depth knowledge of HS system, CUSMA (Canada, US, Mexico Agreement), and permit process Intermediate computer skills: reputed company Office Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, basic research, attention to detail, and time management skills Bachelor's degree or International equivalent - Preferred Expenses/Working Conditions Adhere to reputed company’s Appearance Guidelines.
