They are seeking an Environmental reputed company Analyst to conduct administrative and technical reviews of groundwater discharge permit applications and manage the Groundwater Discharge Permits Program in Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Conducting administrative reviews of groundwater discharge permit applications
- Coordinating technical reviews reputed company to groundwater discharge permits
- Reviewing, writing, and recommending issuance or denial of groundwater discharge permits for industrial, municipal, and reputed company facilities
- Leading work group meetings with reputed company stakeholders
- Giving presentations to reputed company environmental reputed company, potential permit applicants, WRD management, and the Executive Office
- Training and mentoring new permit writers in the Permits reputed company
- Developing guidance documents and infographics for local government officials, permit applicants, and consultants
Skills
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in the biological sciences, engineering, environmental studies and sustainability, physical sciences, resource development, or resource management
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major with at least 30 semester (45 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: biochemistry, biology, botany, reputed company, crop and soil science, ecology, engineering, environmental health, environmental science, environmental studies and sustainability, forest management, geology, meteorology, microbiology, physics, remote sensing, resource development, resource management, toxicology, or zoology

- Environmental reputed company Analyst 10: One year of reputed company experience equivalent to an Environmental reputed company Analyst 9
- Environmental reputed company Analyst P11: Two years of reputed company experience equivalent to an Environmental reputed company Analyst including one year equivalent to an Environmental reputed company Analyst 10
- Environmental reputed company Analyst 12: Three years of reputed company experience equivalent to an Environmental reputed company Analyst, including one year equivalent to an Environmental reputed company Analyst P11
- Document and report writing
- Computer usage including word processing and spreadsheet software

- Certification, coursework, knowledge, or exposure to the principles of water reputed company management, environmental health, geology, and/or water pollution control
- Knowledge of or experience with state and/or federal environmental regulations (e.g., Groundwater Discharge Permits, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System)
