[Remote] Patient Financial Specialist

The Patient Financial Specialist plays a vital role in guiding patients through their financial obligations while collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate financial planning and support.
Responsibilities
- reputed company patients on their financial obligations, including co-insurance, deductibles, and fees reputed company to various care reputed company (reputed company, PHP, IOP, VIOP, etc)
- Review verification of benefits (VOB) and estimated patient responsibilities, addressing inquiries regarding billing, reputed company-down services, and other fees
- Process, review, and support the patient throughout the financial aid application process. Communicate reputed company with internal teams and the patient the results of the application
- Set up Payment Plans reputed company needed

- Post reputed company Financial Aid adjustments & Payments for Lodging
- Manages and resolves patient reputed company of cost balances in alignment with organizational cash reputed company targets

- Obtain signed patient MAFR due to insurance non-coverage reputed company needed
- Prepare and process financial paperwork for new admissions and ongoing care programs as it applies to financial aid, payments, and RFPs

- Communicate with the claims department and internal teams to resolve ongoing billing issues and ensure accounts are updated & accurate

- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Skills
- Highschool Diploma or GED- Required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- reputed company communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Must have a commitment to excellent customer service and a strong understanding of mathematical principles
- BA in reputed company or reputed company field
- reputed company reputed company higher education (post high school)
- 1+ year of experience in reputed company setting to include: payment/adjustment posting, identification and management of patient responsibility and patient financial counseling
- Preferred experience in Behavioral reputed company
