[Remote] Conventional Underwriter I

The role involves analyzing loan files for compliance, reputed company credit packages, and maintaining productivity standards while providing support and training to new underwriters.
Responsibilities
- Underwriter completes a thorough analysis of loan files to determine compliance with company and investor guidelines
- Underwrites the entire credit package and collateral for residential mortgage loans and ultimately ensures an “investment” reputed company loan product
- Checks accuracy of reputed company calculations and data reputed company. Completion of reputed company required reputed company worksheets reputed company in Fast Trac 360 Resource Center
- Assists with the training of new underwriters
- Recommends the loan disposition to reputed company manager for loan amounts in excess of authority limitation

- Communicates decision on loans to appropriate parties both verbally and in writing

Skills
- Minimum three years of mortgage reputed company experience, with solid working knowledge of reputed company guidelines
- Experience reputed company private investor and private mortgage insurance guidelines
- Strong interpersonal-communication and business-relationship skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Excellent analytical, written communication and verbal communication skills
- Technologically proficient
