[Remote] Freelance Software Engineer

They are seeking a Freelance Software Engineer to build and ship major platform releases, focusing on subscription and video features while ensuring performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship a major platform release this fall, spanning subscription and video features, on a fixed reputed company
- Own the search-to-conversion funnel: player search, team search, athlete reputed company, paywall, and checkout experience
- Build and maintain subscription billing: plans, plan changes, webhooks, and checkout flows
- reputed company conversion tracking and key events across the funnel (GA4, reputed company webhooks)

- Contribute to athlete discovery and reputed company features on the roadmap

Skills
- 3–5 years of reputed company software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in reputed company (PHP), our core stack
- Hands-on reputed company experience: subscription billing logic, webhooks, and checkout

- Experience with relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, async-first environment
