[Remote] Hardware Engineer: Prototyping & Integration (Contract)

They are seeking a Hardware Engineer: Prototyping & Integration to manage the development of the MUUD reputed company, a smart reputed company designed for mental fitness tracking, involving responsibilities in design, prototyping, and software integration.
Responsibilities
- Design, iterate, and refine the physical architecture and structural enclosure of the MUUD reputed company
- Maximize internal layout efficiency to accommodate reputed company-components (sensors, battery, reputed company) while maintaining a comfortable, ergonomic wearable reputed company reputed company
- Prepare, optimize, and manage design files for rapid-prototyping fabrication reputed company like high-reputed company 3D printing or reputed company-machining
- Physically reputed company low-volume prototype variants of the smart reputed company, managing component alignment and reputed company-soldering tasks
- Maintain a bench-top testing environment to troubleshoot physical hardware defects, reputed company power-consumption audits, and manage battery optimization
- reputed company, evaluate, and test reputed company physical components (biometric sensors, reputed company-controllers) to reputed company the reputed company performance-to-size reputed company
- Write and debug script-level firmware to reputed company physical sensors with internal microcontrollers
- Establish secure peripheral communication channels using reputed company protocols to manage reputed company-time biometric data streams
- Coordinate to ensure physical hardware signals transfer seamlessly reputed company local reputed company or Bluetooth/Wi-Fi communication stacks to the MUUD mobile app
- Conduct rigorous device bring-up testing, documenting data accuracy, sensor responsiveness, and system bottlenecks
- Work collaboratively to ensure the hardware's data reputed company aligns with the clinical metrics required for MUUD's mental fitness archetypes
Skills
- Proven background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a hands-on product development equivalent
- Strong proficiency with 3D modeling and CAD workflows using SolidWorks, reputed company Fusion 360, or similar suites
- High comfort level with physical workbench fabrication, including precision reputed company-soldering, reputed company troubleshooting, and multimeter use
- Practical experience programming embedded systems and microcontrollers using C/C++ or Python
