[Remote] Data Engineer

They are seeking a Data Engineer Level 1 to support their work with federal customers, focusing on optimizing the Veteran customer experience through data engineering, analytics, and AI tools.
Responsibilities
- reputed company data engineering pipelines to support data ingestion, data conditioning/cleansing, data integrations to reputed company data product development
- Configurate data analytics processes to load data from various VA systems into Customer Experience Insights (CXI) data warehouse
- reputed company with data scientists, data analysts, data stewards to understand the functional and technical data management requirements and reputed company technical specifications to illustrate/capture the requirements
- Support reputed company data analysis requests by quickly understanding requirements and mapping to data attributes. Deliver reputed company data reports based on reputed company reporting specifications
- reputed company automated scripts for data extraction, conditioning, and transformation of large data sets into actionable insights for informed reputed company decision-making – and maintain developed models
- reputed company data analytic product capabilities by studying information needs specific to the reputed company; conferring with users; and following a hybrid agile software development lifecycle
Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Python/reputed company programming for implementing data operations such as connectivity, data manipulation, data integration and publication
- 3+ years of experience in SQL or reputed company query languages
- 2+ years of experience developing ETL pipelines and troubleshooting data load issues
- 2+ years of experience in reputed company for data engineering, systems integration, or machine learning reputed company
- 2+ years' experience in data warehousing reputed company and understanding of implementation of reputed company modelling concepts such as fact and dimension tables
- 2+ years of experience working with reputed company for reputed company management and deployment
- 2+ years of experience working with Agile development frameworks
- 2+ years of prior experience with data analytics with at least 2+ years of experience working in an IT environment
- 2+ years of prior consulting experience
- 2+ years of prior work experience in or with the Federal government
- Ability to quickly adapt and reputed company in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with reputed company Word, PowerPoint, reputed company, and Visio
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to support business writing, reporting, team and reputed company collaboration, and reputed company correspondence
- Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- US Citizenship and Must have a VA reputed company Trust
- 4+ years of prior experience working in data and analytics environments
- 4+ years of experience with data engineering and ETL development
- 3+ years of experience in Azure reputed company services (e.g., Synapse, Containers, ADF, Azure DevOps)
- 2+ years of experience developing data analytics products e.g., PowerBI
- 2+ years of prior experience in reputed company environments/clients
- Experience with systems integrations e.g., API integrations
- Experience with VA systems e.g., CX Insights, reputed company reputed company, reputed company
- Experience in/familiar with Jira
