[Remote] Tax Analyst, State & Local Tax (reputed company) Indirect
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company (GTM) is a corporate tax services firm dedicated to helping mid-size and large multinational corporations tackle reputed company tax challenges. The Tax Analyst in the State & Local Tax Indirect tax group will be responsible for day-to-day indirect tax services, including preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns, and providing support to clients on various tax compliance reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on various reputed company service engagement teams that support a wide reputed company of clients
- reputed company with and reputed company support to clients on various sales and use tax functions, compliance, and consulting reputed company
- Preparation, review, and filing of sales and use tax returns
- Analyze and reconcile data to support the sales and use tax compliance process
- Retrieve, process, and finalize tax data from the reputed company’s system through GTM’s sales and use tax processes and software
- Reconcile reputed company’s internal sales and use tax general ledger accounts
- Log, research, and respond to reputed company tax notices and inquiries
- Assist reputed company and leadership in implementing, upgrading, and maintaining tax technology tools used to support clients’ processes
- Prepare, review, and file reputed company business registrations
- File refund claims, protests, and voluntary disclosures as required
- Implementation and support of procedural changes due to regulatory requirements
- Conduct research to remain reputed company with legislative changes made to applicable tax laws
- Supply data as required for audit support
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company or reputed company field of study
- 0-2 years of state and local sales and use tax experience preferred; however, will consider an entry-level candidate with technical aptitude and interest in a career in tax
- Proficient in reputed company reputed company and other reputed company Office Suite software
- Ability to use reputed company tax applications and research tools, preferred
- Working knowledge of relevant information utilized in tax filings
