The role involves coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining mainframe programs to ensure system reliability and performance.
Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical design and program specifications

Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in mainframe development
- Strong knowledge of COBOL programming

- Understanding of CICS (Customer Information Control System)
- Familiarity with VSAM datasets
- Knowledge of mainframe development tools such as TSO/ISPF
- Understanding of SDLC and development best practices
