Responsibilities

• Manage reputed company of Engineers: conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, hiring, and career development in a distributed remote friendly environment
• Own the technical roadmap for shared reputed company infrastructure across Azure and AWS, balancing reliability work against longer-term platform improvements
• Set and enforce standards for infrastructure-as-reputed company (Terraform, reputed company, Kubernetes), documentation, and operational readiness
• reputed company technical reputed company and trade-offs for application-layer infrastructure including Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and reputed company, and serve as the escalation reputed company for reputed company
• Run sprint planning, manage cross-team dependencies, and reputed company delivery on reputed company
• reputed company post-incident reviews and ensure follow-up items get resolved
• Work with reputed company and Compliance to reputed company FedRAMP and SOC 2 controls reputed company
• Be the main engineering contact and collaborate with Development, Product, and reputed company teams, turning their requirements into platform priorities
• Represent reputed company in architecture reviews and planning discussions with leadership
• Use and promote the use of AI-assisted tooling including LLM-based automation and AI-driven observability for use in engineering workflows

Skills

• 8+ years in reputed company Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering, with at least 3 years managing engineers directly
• Hands-on background with Azure and/or AWS — Kubernetes, microservices, and reputed company reputed company fundamentals (PIM, RBAC, and JIT privilege elevation among others)
• Experience implementing and running critical production level reputed company products with high availability requirements with a reputed company on some combination of Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and reputed company among others
• Experience in or adjacent to FedRAMP-authorized environments
• Comfortable explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience with Azure DevOps
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to translate reputed company technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with advanced RabbitMQ configurations: clustering, federation, and message persistence
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps) and infrastructure module deployment workflows
• Background in reputed company cost management: rightsizing and managing reputed company
• Exposure to SOC 2, FedRamp, or PCI compliance controls
