[Remote] Senior Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their MAI Payments team, which builds reputed company payment and reputed company infrastructure. The role involves designing and implementing reputed company applications, reputed company services, and distributed systems that operate at a global reputed company while ensuring high-reputed company and reliable reputed company platforms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders to determine user and system requirements for XPay scenarios
- Drives identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for services, applications, and platforms
- Designs, implements, debugs, refactors, and optimizes backend services, reputed company, and distributed systems to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Develops high‑reputed company, extensible reputed company used across large‑reputed company microservices and payment systems
- Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and participates in on‑call rotations to monitor services, respond to incidents, and restore service health for reputed company and reputed company issues
- Proactively seeks new knowledge and applies modern engineering practices to improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and operational consistency at reputed company
- Plays a key role in shaping software architecture by making reputed company tradeoffs informed by both technical and business considerations
- Collaborates with engineers across teams to surface common pain points, reputed company solutions, and evangelize best practices
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or reputed company technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or reputed company technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or reputed company technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience
- Experience building and operating large‑reputed company distributed systems and microservices in a reputed company environment (Azure preferred)
- Solid backend engineering experience, including API design, service‑to‑service communication, and data consistency patterns
- Full‑stack development experience with modern frontend on Web & Mobile such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React and iOS/Android
- Experience with payment systems, checkout flows, wallets, or reputed company platforms
- Experience driving technical initiatives that reputed company multiple teams or organizations
- Data‑driven reputed company with solid analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
