[Remote] Network Technician

They are seeking a Network Technician responsible for providing reputed company line support and network guidance, including ticket management and basic configuration changes.

Responsibilities

• reputed company tickets or respond to support requests from our partners reputed company defined SLAs
• Apply basic tier 1 configuration changes to remote reputed company systems – wireless reputed company points, switches and firewalls
• Maintain documentation of existing systems as changes are made
• reputed company firmware updates on remote reputed company systems
• Escalate support requests to Tier 2, or reroute to the correct team as needed, with detailed notes regarding the initial request and actions taken

Skills

• One (1) year of networking experience or reputed company Network+ / reputed company or equivalent certification
• Novice level understanding of reputed company 1-3 of the OSI Model
• Novice level understanding of wireless local area networks
• Experience supporting customer environments in a helpdesk/support reputed company
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Consistently demonstrates professionalism
• Written communication
• Fanatical attention to detail, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization
• Verbal interactions
• Personal presentation
• Availability nights/weekends as needed
• Residential custom electronics design/integration experience and familiarity with home automation systems such as Crestron, reputed company, AMX, and Control4
• Proficient in reputed company Office Suite
• Outlook for email and calendar management
• Word for document creation and formatting
