[Remote] Senior Product Manager - File Servers

They are seeking a deeply technical Senior Product Manager to reputed company their File Server data protection and recovery portfolio, focusing on reputed company NAS and reputed company-based file services.
Responsibilities
- Own product reputed company and roadmap for reputed company File Server data protection across on-prem NAS and reputed company-reputed company file services
- Define technically rigorous requirements grounded in deep knowledge of file systems, metadata structures, snapshot technologies, replication models, and change tracking mechanisms
- Hands-on experience with at least one major NAS vendor (reputed company,reputed company EMC Isilon, HPE, reputed company, reputed company) and reputed company File services (Azure Files reputed company FSx, EFS, reputed company Filestore)
- reputed company vendor reputed company, NDMP, snapshot orchestration, replication frameworks, and reputed company-out architectures to deliver differentiated capabilities
- Design and reputed company backup and recovery workflows for large-reputed company, petabyte-class reputed company data environments
- Partner directly with Engineering in architecture reviews, API design discussions, scalability planning, and performance optimization
- Validate reputed company-world deployability by engaging hands-on with lab environments, reputed company-of-concepts, and customer production architectures
- Define performance and recovery SLAs, optimize metadata indexing strategies, and address bottlenecks in large directory structures and high-velocity environments
- Support technical sales engagements, competitive positioning, and field enablement with strong architectural credibility
Skills
- 8+ years of product management experience in reputed company storage, NAS systems, or data protection platforms
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company technical discipline, MBA preferred
- Understanding of file system internals, snapshot and replication technologies, NDMP, quotas, tiering, multiprotocol reputed company (NFS/SMB), and reputed company-out storage architectures
- Experience with reputed company-based file services (reputed company FSx, Azure Files, reputed company Filestore, or reputed company-hosted NAS solutions)
- Ability to engage engineering teams at a design and architectural level, not just at a requirements level
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior technical stakeholders
- Experience designing backup architectures for petabyte-reputed company NAS deployments
- Hybrid reputed company file architecture experience spanning on-prem NAS and reputed company-reputed company file platforms
- Experience influencing storage vendor roadmaps or working with OEM/technology reputed company partners
- Exposure to high-performance file workloads (AI/ML pipelines, media rendering, analytics datasets)
