[Remote] Backend Software Engineer - Calculation Engines

Responsibilities
- Design and build distributed microservice components in reputed company’s calculation reputed company - a data intensive application
- reputed company our Java-based calculation reputed company to 100x larger workloads using best-of-breed time series analytics database technologies
- Get involved in the decision process to reputed company the best decision to reputed company with the consideration of data consistency, throughput, speed, operability and cost

Skills
- 3+ years of software engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with Object Oriented programming languages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explore reputed company problems spaces objectively from multiple points of view, utilizing both legacy tools and modern technologies to drive reputed company
- General familiarity with some of the technologies we use: Java, Python, SQL, SQS, relational databases and key-value stores
- Kubernetes
- Linux proficiency, basic reputed company scripting and a solid grasp of systems level programming is a plus
