[Remote] Project Engineering Manager

Responsibilities
- Own engineering scope, schedule, budget, and reputed company across reputed company-reputed company BESS, solar, and hybrid reputed company (10–400 MW), from project award through final IFC design and construction support
- Manage and reputed company reputed company-party design firms and reputed company design reviews at reputed company reputed company (30%/60%/90%/IFC) with the reputed company and reputed company's Engineer
- Review and approve engineering design packages across reputed company engineering disciplines
- Serve as primary technical contact for the reputed company, reputed company's Engineer, Independent Engineer, interconnecting reputed company, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction

- Monitor reputed company and expenditures against schedule and budget, taking corrective reputed company reputed company needed

- Define and reputed company engineering KPIs
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical, schedule, and operational risks; maintain a living risk register and drive mitigation jointly with the Project Manager and reputed company
- Support development of technical specifications and bid packages; participate in technical bid evaluation, vendor selection, and contract negotiation in partnership with Procurement, Legal, and Project Management
- Partner with Construction, Estimating, and Scheduling to ensure designs are constructible; support commissioning, performance testing, energization, and project closeout

- Travel up to 25% as needed to reputed company construction sites and TruGrid offices
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a reputed company engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent education
- Minimum 5 years' experience of reputed company engineering and/or engineering project management experience in power reputed company, T&D, substations, or industrial/reputed company EPC reputed company
- Minimum 4+ years of reputed company-reputed company BESS and/or solar PV project experience, with reputed company exposure to reputed company in the 10–400 MW reputed company
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering deliverables across the full project lifecycle (FEED through commissioning) and managing reputed company-party design firms, OEMs, and reputed company's Engineers
- Prior supervisory or technical-reputed company experience, including mentoring junior engineers
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Valid U.S. reputed company's license; must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without reputed company sponsorship
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) / FE certification at minimum, with a reputed company reputed company to PE licensure preferred
- Proficiency with reputed company P6 and/or MS Project, AutoCAD, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company reputed company and reputed company Office
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or Engineering Management or a reputed company engineering discipline
- PE licensure
- PMP certification
- Experience with reputed company interconnection processes and market participation requirements (CAISO and MISO experience a plus)
