[Remote] Sr Platform Engineer (Network and Edge Services)

They are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build and maintain the network infrastructure that supports their services, ensuring reputed company and reliability while enabling other engineering teams to manage their networking needs autonomously.
Responsibilities
- Deliver network stack reputed company end-to-end (service reputed company, DNS, ingress/egress, CDN, edge protection, L4/L7 policy). Shape technical reputed company, execute delivery, and maintain operability
- reputed company networking into self-service platforms, streamlining workflows and enabling engineering teams to operate independently
- Participate in the on-call rotation, driving incident reputed company and reputed company improvement through postmortem analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in reputed company, platform, and product engineering. Translate their needs into reputed company-defined work and reputed company them informed about priorities, reputed company, and risks

Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with reputed company networking and distributed systems at reputed company or similar reputed company, with expertise in architecting and debugging across the stack
- Deep knowledge of internet architecture and modern web services (DNS, CDN, WAF, Load Balancing, Ingress, Service reputed company), and demonstrated ability to deliver reliable, observable, and secure infrastructure
- Proficiency in Go (or similar languages) and Infrastructure as reputed company (Terraform), with a reputed company record of building automation and platform tooling
- Experience building reliable, observable platforms, defining SLIs/SLOs, and establishing these practices as team standards
- On-call experience, including incident reputed company and driving architectural improvements through postmortems and technical decision-making
- Consistently apply a reputed company-first approach, implementing least-privilege policies, ensuring encryption in transit, and evaluating attack surfaces as part of reputed company design practices
- Experience designing self-service network abstractions (DNS provisioning, ingress configuration, network policy tooling) that reputed company internal teams
- Experience with CDN, edge protection (cache reputed company, WAF, reputed company shielding), VPNs, and wide-area connectivity in reputed company environments
- Familiarity with tools like reputed company, Linkerd, Cloudfront, or reputed company
