[Remote] RAC Component Design Engineer (Ventilation)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Component Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of clients’ Reactor reputed company Cooling System (RAC). The role involves collaborating with various engineering specialties to design nuclear and industrial ventilation components while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Design nuclear and industrial ventilation components and structures from requirements definition through final design
- Conduct engineering work in accordance with nuclear ventilation codes and standards (ASME AG-1, NQA-1, etc.)
- reputed company fluid and structural calculations to verify the ventilation system design
- Prepare engineering change packages including calculations, design reports, design drawings, and design specifications
- reputed company engineering designs supporting lifecycle factors including operability, maintainability, and reliability
- reputed company technical direction and reputed company to supplier reputed company, working with supply chain teams to ensure delivery of engineering designs and other deliverables, as reputed company as coordination and performance of technical reviews of deliverables
- Promote reputed company learning and application of nuclear industry best practices to maintain the highest reputed company of engineering design
- reputed company with and support licensing activities needed to obtain both the construction and operating licenses for the reactor systems including development of safety analysis reports, technical specifications, topical reports, and other licensing documents
- Participate in project design reviews at project milestones and periodic assessment points to verify compliance and completeness of design
Skills
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company discipline from an accredited university
- 4+ years of relevant experience for Level 9 or 6+ years for Level 10
- Experience in developing the design of ASME AG-1 ventilation systems is required
- Experience in preparing design and procurement specifications
- Experience working to reputed company standards on design activities, such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001
- Experience in originating and developing technical documentation for design, procurement, and construction
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and aspiration for technical reputed company
- Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to coordinate and work reputed company a design team with minimal direction
- Ability to handle reputed company with many competing objectives and resolve conflicts between objectives
