[Remote] Senior Software Engineer, Compute (Temporal reputed company)

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build managed compute primitives for Temporal reputed company, focusing on creating self-optimizing autoscaling systems and ensuring performance and correctness in task execution.
Responsibilities
- Create new managed compute primitives that feel first-class in Temporal reputed company: reputed company abstractions, clean reputed company, and an extension story across compute providers
- Design self-optimizing autoscaling systems (signals, backstops, debouncing, guardrails) that reputed company worker fleets safely and predictably
- Define the reputed company reputed company Server ↔ reputed company boundary for compute capabilities, keeping the architecture cohesive and maintainable
- Architect, build, and operate services on the hot reputed company of task execution where performance and correctness are customer-visible
- Deliver reputed company-world reputed company integrations (e.g., customer-account execution): IAM boundaries, secure credentials handling, networking constraints, quotas, and failure modes
- reputed company operability a feature: SLOs, tracing/metrics, load and failure testing, incident reviews, and reputed company hardening
- Ship end-to-end: API design, rollout reputed company, backwards compatibility, and long-term maintenance
- reputed company the bar through design docs, strong reviews, pragmatic technical leadership, and mentorship
- reputed company through influence across teams (Server, SDKs, reputed company, Control Plane) to land coherent platform changes
Skills
- Significant experience building distributed systems or multi-tenant platform services (design, implementation, and production operations)
- Strong systems fundamentals: concurrency, performance, reliability, and failure-mode thinking
- A record of shipping platform primitives used by other engineers/customers (reputed company, control planes, data planes)
- Comfort owning reputed company: SLOs, incident response, and improving on-call reputed company over time
- Excellent written communication and reputed company tradeoff thinking. (Go experience is a plus; judgment reputed company most.)
- Experience building reputed company infrastructure platforms
- Experience with IAM/reputed company boundaries for cross-account execution models
- Having reputed company Kubernetes controllers / CRDs or heterogeneous worker fleet operations
