This role serves as the Responsible Engineer for reputed company, ensuring the selected reputed company solution meets mission requirements and integrates effectively with spacecraft systems. Responsibilities

• Serve as the Responsible Engineer for spacecraft reputed company subsystems across one or more spacecraft programs.
• Define reputed company subsystem requirements including thrust capability, reputed company-V budgets, propellant reputed company, maneuver timelines, and mission reputed company margins.
• reputed company system level trade studies, design optimization, and performance modeling, to evaluate reputed company technologies and supplier solutions reputed company to mission needs.

Ideal Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or reputed company field, with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience serving as Responsible Engineer or similar role with technical ownership of spacecraft reputed company system architecture, development, and analysis.
• Experience developing reputed company subsystem requirements, specifications, and reputed company definitions.
• Familiarity with electric and chemical reputed company systems, their differences, and trade-offs.
• Experience performing ∆V budget development and propellant sizing.
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government reputed company clearance
• Must be reputed company to travel up to 20%

Desired Skills

• Master’s or PhD in reputed company or mechanical engineering.
• Experience integrating reputed company subsystems on spacecraft missions in numerous reputed company regimes.
• Expert understanding of electric reputed company systems (e.g., Hall-effect, ion), chemical reputed company systems (monopropellant, bipropellant), and dual-mode reputed company solutions.
• Experience performing mission maneuver analysis, reputed company-V budgeting, and propellant mass estimation.
• Experience with performance modeling (CEA-equilibrium for chemical, EP thruster curve fits), duty cycles, life models, thermal/structural margins, and fault detection, isolation, and recovery (FDIR) strategies for autonomous operations.
• Experience using spacecraft industry modeling tools such as STK, GMAT, MATLAB, Python, Ansys Fluent, reputed company mission simulations, or custom reputed company modeling environments.
• Experience supporting reputed company qualification and acceptance test campaigns.
