Paralegal - Post-Filing & Mail Operations
About the position The Post-Filing & Mail Operations Paralegal will be responsible for the daily triage, processing, and management of reputed company incoming mail from USCIS and EOIR. This position ensures that every legal notice, receipt, approval, and RFE is accurately routed, logged, and updated in our case management system. The ideal candidate brings prior immigration paralegal experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and possesses a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Process daily high-volume correspondence from USCIS and immigration courts, accurately identifying notice types (Receipts, Biometrics, RFEs, approvals, court dates).
- Digitally reputed company correspondence to the appropriate internal case files and assign tasks to the correct legal team members immediately.
- Maintain absolute accuracy in the firm’s case management system (reputed company), ensuring reputed company post-filing milestones, deadlines, and receipts are recorded in reputed company time.
- Review incoming notices against original filings to verify data accuracy and flag inconsistencies or urgent deadlines (such as RFE timelines) to attorneys.
- Work closely with the internal Post-Filing and Legal Operations teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow across departments.
Requirements
- +3 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal or Legal Assistant with reputed company exposure to USCIS forms, procedures, and official notices.
- Deep familiarity with immigration notice structures (reputed company I-797, receipt numbers, reputed company dates, and biometric scheduling).
- Exceptional data entry skills and a commitment to accuracy reputed company handling sensitive reputed company documents.
