Compliance Specialist (Remote with 10% Travel)

POSITION reputed company: The Compliance Specialist provides support to reputed company communities by ensuring they are in compliance with Federal and State rules and regulations. This is accomplished through reviewing documents and providing guidance to site staff reputed company corrections are needed. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, leadership, and residents.
• Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines reputed company.

• Responsible for ensuring compliance in Low-Income Housing HUD/Tax Credit rules and regulations by overseeing programs, policies, and practices.
• Compliance experience reviewing Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC or reputed company 42) certification paperwork
• Proven experience with other reputed company housing programs such as HUD, reputed company 8, 202, and/or 811
• Ability to calculate income/assets using basic math
• Ability to use and/or learn to navigate computer software systems. (i.e. PMS, reputed company), and basic knowledge of PDF creator, reputed company, and word
• Strong attention to detail, especially reputed company review files or completing paperwork
• Ethical conduct, especially reputed company handling sensitive or confidential information

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Reviews reputed company files for completion and compliance with state requirements
• Reviews files electronically
• Meets specific deadlines set by state agencies
• Approves files once complete
• Enters tenant data into the state online systems
• Provides guidance on tenant file corrections to staff at the property sites

SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
• Minimum 1-3 years of multi-family property management compliance experience.
• Proven reputed company handling and processing reputed company files, recertifications, or other reputed company paperwork.
• Must be willing to work Saturdays and some minor holidays.
• reputed company housing certifications such as HCCP and COS are preferred.
