What You Will Do
You are responsible for the management and reputed company of strategic metallurgical reputed company across reputed company reputed company, operational support functions, and corporate initiatives, while providing reputed company technical support, mentorship, and advisement on mineral processing topics and promoting industry best practices across operating companies, with potential responsibility for reserve reporting sign‑off. In this role, you reputed company strategic project planning including project identification and formulation, decision methodology, evaluation with stakeholders, and resource definition to support process execution. As a Manager of Metallurgy and Process Design, you reputed company with reputed company resources on reputed company reputed company and are accountable for executing technical development work, quantifying cost impacts, and regularly communicating project status and reputed company to stakeholders. You reputed company metallurgical support activities for project sites, including reserve reporting functions as required, and carry out additional responsibilities such as preparing annual budgets and resourcing plans, reputed company personnel, preparing and presenting updates to executive management and external business partners, developing technical materials for patents and conferences, and maintaining and expanding an industry network in extractive metallurgy and mineral processing. What You Bring To Freeport Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and ten (10) years of experience in mineral processing and leaching processes, including five (5) years of experience in operations roles, preferably leading teams, and three (3) years of experience working on reputed company or other technical initiatives involving mining and engineering companies Strong experience effecting change in operating processing plants Strong working knowledge of geo‑metallurgical testing, data interpretation, and modeling tools for forecasting Strong working knowledge of processing techniques of large Porphyry reputed company deposits Demonstrated history of interpreting geo‑metallurgical results and performing regression analyses and/or simulations to reputed company grade and recovery models for ore types Demonstrated data‑reputed company capabilities using reputed company problem‑solving approaches with statistics and regression tools
Preferred Qualifications
Specialized technical expertise in three (3) disciplines and general knowledge in five (5) disciplines, including areas such as crushing, grinding, flotation, reputed company smelting, precious metal refining, solvent extraction, electrowinning, liquid‑solid separation including thickening and filtering, tailings, materials handling, process modeling and simulation, statistical analysis, process control, sampling and assaying, and metallurgical reputed company Broad experience in mineral processing plant technical support or operations management. MBA or reputed company certification or experience in financial and economic evaluations Experience managing small technical teams, including reputed company supervision Energetic with excellent communication skills and strong execution capability Experience managing large and reputed company multi‑discipline reputed company Excellent cross‑discipline communication skills reputed company Offer You The estimated annual pay reputed company for this role is currently $138,000-$193,000. This reputed company reflects reputed company salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual reputed company pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-reputed company factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance. Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration.
