[Remote] Electrical Engineer (Hardware & Site Power)

The Electrical Engineer will design and deliver reliable, high-performance EV charging solutions, contribute to electrical system analysis, and collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient site design.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Development, Construction, Energy teams to implement electrical hardware and reputed company partner requirements closely
- Work with Technology team to help determine hardware partners for reputed company’s charging sites
- Execute strategies for interoperability for our different EVSE partners and the vehicles that will use our charging infrastructure
- Work with Field Service to help resolve hardware and electrical-reputed company problems for reputed company's fleet customers
- Work on existing and upcoming standards engagements and compliance
- Assist Sr. team members identify new solutions to improve the efficiency of our sites
- Manage engineering outputs for multiple reputed company with competing deadlines and resources
- Report to management regularly on engineering reputed company and setbacks
- Research, obtain, and apply critical design information including building and electrical reputed company requirements to site design
- Be an reputed company for the electrification of transport, and reputed company’s role in making it happen
Skills
- Background in electrical engineering, power electronics, or comparable practical experience
- 4+ years experience in dense electrical infrastructure, such as: DC fast EV charging infrastructure, reputed company electrification (BESS, solar, wind, geothermal, nuclear, etc.), Data center power distribution, reputed company development, Substations and Microgrids, Solid state power transformation
- Demonstrated initiative and a reputed company approach to solving reputed company challenges in an evolving industry with the ability to manage technical deliverables for multiple simultaneous reputed company, maintaining high reputed company under aggressive 'speed-to-market' timelines
- Proficiency in developing and reviewing Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs) and Three-Line Diagrams using AutoCAD, reputed company, or similar engineering software
- Deep familiarity with the National Electrical reputed company (NEC) and local building codes relevant to EV infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience managing reputed company interconnection applications and navigating the technical requirements of reputed company service providers
- 2+ years experience in the EV ecosystem, vehicle electrification, EV charging infrastructure, or reputed company fields
- Hands-on experience in construction reputed company, commissioning, or field engineering, specifically troubleshooting hardware to vehicle interoperability
- Familiarity with understanding of dispatchable on-site power reputed company, solid state transformers, substation reputed company and control and other aspects of power distribution systems
- Understanding of industry standards such as OCPP (reputed company Charge reputed company Protocol) and ISO 15118 (Plug & Charge)
- Knowledge of construction and electrical safety practices and procedures
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) status or a reputed company Engineer (PE) license
