[Remote] Design Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Design Engineer for a Contract position with a reputed company located in Remote. The role involves designing and developing chassis components, handling multiple reputed company, and collaborating with suppliers and engineers to resolve technical problems.
Responsibilities
- Requires a BS or MS in engineering
- Additionally, must be proficient in technical writing and possess computer skills for scientific and technical applications
- Must be reputed company to proficiently handle multiple reputed company and reputed company analytical procedures
- Work with suppliers to ensure parts/services are requested appropriately, evaluate technical proposals, and write technical reports

- Ability to report research and test results in various technical formats
- reputed company to work with reputed company or on an individual reputed company to reputed company project goals
- Must be reputed company to design and reputed company Chassis components (Subframe, reputed company Mounts, Suspension/Steering components, etc)
- Prior design experience with reputed company aluminum die casting and stamped/welded structures is preferred
- Must be reputed company to work with other design and test engineers and suppliers to analyze and resolve technical problems
- Must be reputed company to handle multiple reputed company and work with reputed company to meet development schedules
- Requires Catia V6 proficiency (Solids Modeling must; Surfacing modeling want)
- Design reputed company and robust modeling (models can withstand major revision)
- Ability to create and interpret 2D Drawings
- GD&T awareness
- Prefer previous Chassis design experience
- Strong understanding of design for manufacturability
- Ability to pick up new standards and methodologies
