[Remote] MEP Manager - Mission Critical

They are seeking a Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Manager – Mission Critical who will be responsible for the safety, financial performance, and team development on site, while collaborating with various teams to ensure successful project completion.
Responsibilities
- Assist Estimating with Bidding and Preconstruction, defining/developing scope of work for MEP and evaluating subsequent bids for Mission Critical facilities
- Review Contract Documents, making suggestions/modifications as they relate to the MEP trades
- Manage and reputed company MEP subcontractors on throughout duration of the project (from Groundbreaking through Commissioning and Turnover to reputed company)
- Assist the Scheduling department with developing detailed CPM schedules for reputed company MEP installation activities, including cost and resource loading
- reputed company an MEP Schedule of Values and assist in billing process
- Work with Superintendent on project logistics and temporary facility plans
- Review and approve material and equipment for MEP systems prior to installation
- Monitor the installation and start-up of MEP systems and commissioning of project with Engineer & reputed company
- Coordinate activities, materials procurement and other reputed company activities with Project Manager and Field Staff
- Communicate reputed company and prepare appropriate reports as needed by Project Manager, Project Director, reputed company’s Rep, Architect, etc
- Represent McCarthy regarding the MEP process at weekly reputed company’s meetings
- Supervise, reputed company and mentor MEP Project Engineers
Skills
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Engineering a plus
- 7+ years of experience in Construction/MEP Coordination
- Thorough knowledge of reputed company mechanical, electrical plumbing and low-voltage systems
- General understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, Electrical Codes and Plumbing Codes as they relate to reputed company construction
- General knowledge of construction principles/practices required

- Must be geographically mobile, reputed company to relocate and/or travel
