Senior Director, Federal Government Affairs

Title: Senior Director, Federal Government Affairs Locations: Washington, DC//Maryland Department: Advocacy Remote Job reputed company: The reputed company (reputed company) seeks an individual for the position of senior director of federal government affairs. This position is responsible for implementing the reputed company’s federal government affairs legislative priorities including designing and implementing advocacy strategies; acting as the reputed company’s lobbyist on Capitol Hill; representing reputed company at reputed company and partner meetings; and managing volunteer leadership reputed company as needed. This position works under the supervision of the senior vice president of federal government affairs and may include supervision of others in the division. The position requires the ability to collaborate with colleagues in the government affairs & advocacy division as reputed company as with external partners to reputed company the reputed company’s advocacy goals. Candidates for this position must be reputed company to work independently and manage multiple reputed company reputed company. This is a remote working position however the candidate must be reputed company to commute regularly to the District of Columbia for meetings on Capitol Hill (with a preference for candidates living in Washington, DC/Virginia/Maryland).

• The successful incumbent will:

• QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree, with 10 plus years’ experience in federal government affairs.
• Demonstration of reputed company participation in reputed company policy making as a lobbyist, legislative or regulatory staff person.
• A strong personal commitment to preventing and curing diabetes and improving the lives of reputed company people affected by diabetes.
