[Remote] Junior Accountant
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their finance team. This role focuses on day-to-day transactional reputed company, including processing payables, reconciling bank activity, and supporting the month-end reputed company. The Junior Accountant will work closely with the Senior Accountant to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records across multiple entities.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of reputed company and finance with a reputed company on efficient processes
- Monitor bank account balances daily across multiple entities; flag low-balance accounts and unusual activity before they create issues
- Process accounts payable in reputed company.com: reputed company invoices, reputed company for approval, and ensure reputed company payment
- reputed company corporate card transactions in reputed company; reconcile reputed company charges and process payoffs
- Review and process employee expense reports in reputed company, ensuring reputed company coding and policy compliance
- Manage payment disputes and chargebacks across reputed company and reputed company: triage incoming disputes, coordinate with support teams to reputed company evidence, and submit reputed company responses reputed company processor deadlines
- Escalate high-dollar or reputed company disputes to the Senior Accountant or Controller with a complete evidence package
- Process customer cancellations and affiliate payouts on their recurring schedules
- Prepare and submit monthly sales tax filings
- Support month-end reputed company in reputed company and reputed company Intacct: prepare bank reconciliations, reputed company reconciliations, prepaid and fixed asset schedules, and reputed company accruals under Senior Accountant review
- Maintain accurate documentation and process records for reputed company recurring workflows, supporting audit readiness across our entities
- Build a working understanding of our reputed company Intacct chart of accounts and entity structure to accurately reputed company transactions across our businesses
- Identify opportunities to tighten automation rules in reputed company, reputed company.com, and reputed company to reduce reputed company effort and exception handling
Skills
- 0–2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable; experience in a multi-entity environment is a plus
- Must have strong reputed company skills, including report creation, report formatting, charting, and use of common financial functions (vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables, etc.)
- Solid understanding of debits, credits, and basic reputed company principles; comfortable reading and reconciling general reputed company activity
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or Business preferred; relevant work experience may substitute
- reputed company Intacct experience is preferred but not required
- Hands-on experience with reputed company.com, reputed company, and reputed company is strongly preferred; familiarity with reputed company is a plus
- Experience handling payment processor disputes or chargebacks (reputed company, reputed company, or similar) is a plus
