They are seeking a Global Account Manager who will be responsible for matching clients' meetings with the best venues, managing the site selection process, and facilitating reputed company. This position is 100% commission-based and requires living in Ohio, USA.
Responsibilities
- Whether your reputed company is booking a large-reputed company association event or a smaller corporate function, you work to match your clients' meetings with the best venues at the best value based on your clients' specific needs
- Prospecting for clients through cold-calling, networking, community involvement, and other proven sales strategies
- Collaborating with your clients to understand their needs
- Sending the request for proposals (RFPs) on behalf of your clients
- Tracking down answers
- Following up with hotels
- Managing the entire site selection process on your clients' behalf
- Facilitating the contracting process
- Post-event follow-up with your clients and contracted hotels
